Jean Warren has been painting since 1978 and her work is included in public, corporate and private collections. In Bodega Bay, her watercolors are represented at Smith & Kirk Contemporary Art and at West County Design in Valley Ford.
“Painting is an adventure into new discoveries as shapes become rearranged and interconnected to show a new perspective,” says Jean.
People appreciate the abstract qualities, dynamic rhythms and creative color choices in her watercolors. “The creative process blends structure with a flurry of passion and intuition,” she says.
Jean and her husband Phil moved to the Sonoma Coast after Phil retired and the couple searched for a coastal community to call home. Jean and Phil work with the Marin-based Marine Mammal Center as stranding/rescue volunteers, serving the territory of Point Reyes to Salt Point.
