Right here in West Sonoma County, Anne hosts a weekly radio show that is unique in the entire country. Dream Talk Radio airs every Thursday morning on KOWS 107.3 fm in nearby Occidental. She helps people understand their dreams, and speaks with experts and authors on lucid dreaming, sleep research, consciousness, intuition and creativity. “When people come to the coast, they tend to have big dreams,” says Anne. “Especially when we go on vacation and give ourselves time away from our daily routines, our minds work overtime making sense of all our experiences. This activity is remembered by us in the form of dreams. Exploring these dreams can yield great insights, help us with problem-solving, and help us lead more fulfilling lives.”
She adds, “I love how this landscape is seeping into my dreams the longer I live here. Our dream geography reflects our state of mind, and certain places show up in our dreams repeatedly. I consider it good news when places like Bodega Head show up in dreams, because in my view the beauty and power of the elements in that spot reflects a courageous, forward-thinking stance. Being at the confluence of two tectonic plates means things get shaken up both physically and mentally here. People can really have earth-shaking dreams!”
